He has been rewarded with the Bronze Star, the Meritorious Service Medal, and the Legion of Merit for his managerial accomplishments. As a management consultant, Cal has conducted organizational analyses to identify problems and made recommendations for improvement. He has also conducted research and written regulations and manuals for government agencies. His formal education includes a MS in Technology of Management from American University, Washington, DC, as well as some completed work toward a PhD.
